a small farm near Independence, Oregon. I have a herd of Nigerian Dwarf
Dairy Goats -- delightful small goats that produce a nice amount of
very rich, sweet milk. My herd of about 12 does typically kid in early
spring (February/March). Kids are bottle fed and friendly and make good
4-H projects, family milkers, or brush eaters for the farm.
is shared with a few Harriers and a Beagle. Harriers are a rare breed
in this country. Used in England in hunting packs, they are a medium
sized hound similar in appearance to a Beagle or a Foxhound. They
make delightful pets and great tracking dogs.
